Lord Murugan Shrine
Lord Murugan or Karthik was born by the divine spark from Lord Shiva and he is very popular amongst Tamil speaking people. He is worshipped for prosperity and protection from evil. He is the second son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi. Though the deity in the shrine has one face, in epic he is known for having 6 faces. His chariot is driven by a peacock. He is the General for warriors of the Angels in the fights against evil. He is worshipped for Health and Wealth.
