Brahmotsavam is the most important annual function celebrated at Balaji temple. Popular stories trace the origin of celebration to Lord Brahma who first conducted this grand festival to Lord Venkateswara for the benefit of mankind.

During the festival, the Utsava Murtis, Srinivasa Perumal with Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken on a procession on different Vahanas (Vehicles) around the temple. Each Vahana has a reference to memorable events in Puranas and connected with Avataras of Lord Vishnu.

Brahmotsavam is celebrated over five days.
