Statement from Trustees of Shri Venkateswara Balaji Temple of the United Kingdom

Devotees and visitors to the Balaji Temple will no doubt be aware of the ongoing emergency in regard to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The vast majority of our devotees have already acted with great responsibility and reduced their visits to the Temple by almost 90%.

However, for the avoidance of doubt and to ensure that we play our part in the national effort to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus even further, the Trustees have decided to CLOSE the Temple to all devotees and visitors with immediate effect until further Notice. read more

In view of the ongoing situation with the corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic, and in light of the Government call to avoid exposure to large and small gatherings, trustees have decided to cancel all forthcoming religious events and ceremonies until further notice.

The daily regular schedule of Aarati and pujas will continue to be carried out by the Temple priests. We will be closely monitoring the situation and keep you informed of any further changes. Please check our website for future updates

Please note change in opening hours from February 2018
Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Weekends & Bank Holidays: 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Please note that the temple will close at 8:30 pm from November to March (Winter Time)
